Welcome to the new home of awakenings. I have not written much in the past year, living of life getting in the way of writing about life, as it sometimes does. I am hoping to become a more regular poster again however, as I know that there is much of this story left to tell. Hopefully there are a few people still following along!

I love reading your blog. Married for 13 years, two beautiful children and feeling what I do. I remember reading a quote by Anais Nin once, something like, “and the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” Forgive me if I may have used one or two words out of context but that was the quote I think. You are living an authentic life, congratulations to you. I look forward to most posts.

I found your blog via The Lesbian Life and have read a couple of your entries. I’m 24, I’m not married, nor do I have kids. I’m in a relationship with a man and have been for five years but know that I am gay and have told some VERY close friends. I’m ok with it but really scared so reading your blog has been reassuring and scary too (I’ve cried a little I’ll admit). I’m biding my time and wanting to move to the next step (whatever it is), I’m so impatient!
So I just wanted to say hey, and thanks for sharing your life on this blog.
